Adwr means to nurture and to care. and that is the name of of the children focused malaria control program in Udalguri District of Assam. The program aims at educating school children to fight malaria and help them to reach out to neighbouring villages through awareness campaigns. For this end Malaria blue ribbon clubs are being formed in schools, and volunteers are being trained in villages. to complement these activities we would like to provide bed nets to the children and their families so they can protect themselves.
