Afghanistan Fighting Malaria

Location: Atlanta, USA
Participants: 1

I am a Medical Doctor from Afghanistan, and I am working for the Ministry of Public Health, as Director General of Administration, and here in the US I am a fellow for the Humphrey fellowship program 2006-2007. and will stay here for a period up to Jun 2007.
I am trying to find ways to help the country and the people of Afghanistan. Malaria in Afghanistan is one of the main priorities that the health system focuses on it, as a major componnet of Melinium Development Goal. Afghanistan is commited to apply the strategies of the MDG, to roll back mallaria, stop TB and prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS, in the country.

100% of the money received through this page, will buy Long-Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs) for distribution in Afghanistan.
