Malaria is a KILLER, more notorious than Son of Sam, The Hillside Strangler, Ted Bundy, and Jeffrey Dahmer combined. And who are the victims of this horrible disease??? CHILDREN!
Each year, millions of children under the age of 10 die in Africa as a result of mosquito bites. How can something so simple be so deadly? Because those tiny insects inject the Malaria virus into small children, who are too weak to fight off the disease.
The solution is simple and relatively cheap. For just $5, we can buy and insecticide-treated bednet to help protect a family in Africa. Think of it... for one day, instead of buying two slices of pizza and expanding your waistline, you can donate just $5 to save a child. Skip that last beer at 2 AM, and instead give a 5 year old the chance to grow up and enjoy life.
