We are students at Emory University who are thoroughly against the proliferation of female Anopheles mosquitoes* in communities around the world. Our goal is to raise as much money for long-lasting insecticide treated nets (LLITNs) as possible. Initially, we hope to provide full LLITN coverage for one village of 500 children during this competition. Sponsor us if you share our disdain for Anopheles and love for children. Let's continue the success in the third round. Thanks for your support! *Anopheles mosquitoes transmit the parasite Plasmodium (the actual organism responsible for malaria) For some more evidence that these nets work, click the link below: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/01/health/01hiv.html?ex=1330405200&en=d09eecb97a8a0567&ei=5124&partner=permalink&exprod=permalink
